Laundry!!!

First time doing laundry.

Laundromats are pretty fun. I feel like a college student now. The dryers have a massive glass door, so the entire world will be seeing my...personals. SO FUN! Well, the whole world = Leanna. So I guess it's not that big of a deal.

Tomorrow we are heading down to the "P.O.T. Shop" to pick up the rest of our junk for hte summer. T-shirts, camper handbooks, all of our papers and materials for the whole summer. Pretty excited about that. Then we drive back up the mountain to Estes Park and hang out for the rest of the night. Sunday morning we leave, bright and early to head to Kansas. YAY middle of no where. But then Monday night we will be staying in St. Louis Missouri. I'm pretty stoked about that. Then we go to Atlanta, Georgia, which is supper exciting because we will be in the south so their will be some line dancing to do :) We are traveling with another group to Valdosta Georgia to set up their camp and hang out for a few nights. After that we head over to our first camp to set up and all that jazz.

I'm really happy to be leaving Colorado in a few days. My body does not like the altitude. Neither does my cell phone.

Hope you all are doing great. :) 9 weeks left. Not like I'm counting down or anything. Just letting you all know ;)

One more day of training!

Oh wow. After 2 weeks, I'm pretty ready to get going. But my first camp isn't even until June 20th. We leave here on sunday the 6th, we will be heading out with a few other crews. After that, we will get into Valdosta, Georgia with one other crew to help set up. We will hang out with them for a day or two, then head over to Kingstree, South Carolina. After our set up in Kingstree, I will be driving out to Murtle Beach, South Carolina to pick up my MC and his wife on their honeymoon...awkward. It's a really cute story, too long for here though. But I get to travel out there and get paid. :) I know, it's a very nice job.

As pretty as it is here in Estes, I'm so ready to get on the road. Not only am I ready to start actual work, I'm ready to get cell phone reception. It is getting to that point where I am constantly irritated with it. Oh well...I guess I've dealt with it this far, I might as well suck it up for a few more days.

I'm still not used to the alttitude and the time change. Strange, I know. My body really, really doesn't want to give in to the change. It refuses to give in. It's been trained well. :) hopefully I'll come home in 9 weeks with no change and no jet lag. HA yeah right.

Well, I'm going to go. It's freezing where I am because I have to sit next to the door of the lobby. The internet is awful...but I'm not surprised. Hopefully I will get a chance to update out on the road when i leave here. :) Peace

Rockies game

Since we have the weekend off, we decided to go to a Rockies game. They just happened to be playing the Dodgers. Unfortunately the Dodgers lost. But we all had a great time. My car decided to walk around Downtown for a little while, and surprise surprise, nothing to do unless you are 21 and older. So we just drove back, got some Sonic, and came back to the YMCA. I must say, being so high up is making me sick. We went down 2,000 feet and I instantly felt better. Not 100% but close. I really don't like not being at sea level. My body does not like it at all. Tomorrow we are either going to a drive in movie with a double feature (iron man 2 and robin hood) or line dancing. OR both! I like option 3 personally. Well Lion King is done buffering on youtube. Going to go watch a little bit more, then off to sleep. :) I should have time to write some more tomorrow.
